Christian Science is based on the Bible, particularly the teachings and works of Christ Jesus.  Mary Baker Eddy, the Discover and Founder of Christian Science, established it "to reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."

 Those of us who attend this church see the undeniable fact that Christian Science brings freedom, individually and collectively, from sin, sickness, and death. 

The universe is being transformed, life by life, thought by thought, with the practical Christianity that is laid out for us in the teachings of Christian Science.  To learn more about this, we daily study the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health, through which we demonstrate that the powerful spiritual ideas found there liberate and heal.

The author of Science and Health wrote her book to respond to humanity?s yearning for spiritual and physical freedom. She experienced this yearning herself and understood its universality. Today, humanity seeks with increasing urgency the freedom Christian Science brings, and the transforming ideas in Mary Baker Eddy's writings continue to satisfy this search for spiritual answers.
